Privacy policy

Last updated: April 2026

This privacy policy explains how I, Cam Springett, collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you visit camspringett.cloud or engage with my coaching services. I take your privacy seriously and handle your data with care. If anything is unclear, please contact me at coaching@camspringett.cloud.

1. Who I am

I am Cam Springett, operating as Cam Springett Coaching, based in Sri Lanka. I am the data controller for any personal data collected through this website and my coaching services.

Contact: coaching@camspringett.cloud
Website: camspringett.cloud

2. What data I collect why

When you complete the questionnaire

I collect the information you provide in the questionnaire, including your name, email address, and your responses to the personal development questions. This data is used to generate your personalised clarity report and to assess whether coaching may be a good fit for both of us.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing you with a relevant and personalised response to your enquiry.

When you receive a clarity report

Your email address is used to send your clarity report. I retain a copy to inform any future coaching conversation if you proceed to a chemistry call or coaching sessions.

When you enter a coaching relationship

I collect and process personal data shared during sessions, including information about your goals, circumstances, challenges, and progress. This data is used solely for the purpose of delivering coaching to you.

Clients working in the alcohol performance coaching area may share sensitive personal data relating to their health, including details about their experience of alcohol use and recovery. Under UK GDPR Article 9, this constitutes special category data. I process this data only on the basis of your explicit consent, given before the first session as part of the coaching agreement. This data is treated with the same confidentiality as all other session content and is used only for the purpose of delivering coaching. I do not retain clinical records and I am not a medical professional.

Legal basis: explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) UK GDPR) for special category health data; performance of a contract for all other coaching data.

When you use WhatsApp or email support between sessions

Any personal information shared through these channels is used only to support the coaching relationship. WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta Platforms Inc. under their own privacy policy, available at whatsapp.com.

When you contact me by email

Any personal data you share in email correspondence is used to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to inform the coaching relationship. I do not add email contacts to any mailing list without explicit consent.

3. How I store your data

Email correspondence and clarity reports are stored in my Gmail account, managed through Google Workspace. Google's privacy and security standards apply to this data.

Questionnaire responses are processed through Lovable.app, which hosts the embedded questionnaire on this website. Lovable's own privacy policy applies to data processed through their platform, available at lovable.app.

Between-session support messages sent via WhatsApp are processed by Meta Platforms Inc. under their own privacy policy.

Any session notes I take are brief, non-verbatim, and stored securely within my Google Workspace account. They are not shared with any third party.

I do not use any dedicated CRM or client management software. All client data is held within Google Workspace.

4. How long I keep your data

If you complete the questionnaire but do not proceed to coaching, I will retain your data for twelve months, after which it will be deleted.

If you enter a coaching relationship, I will retain your data for three years from the date our work together ends. After this period, all personal data will be securely deleted.

You may request deletion of your data at any time. See Section 7 for your rights.

5. Who I share your data with

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances only: with my coaching supervisor, in anonymised form only, as part of my professional development requirements; with third party platforms that process data on my behalf, specifically Google Workspace, Lovable.app, and Meta Platforms Inc. (WhatsApp); where required by law or to protect the safety of you or another person.

6. Cookies

This website does not use any advertising or tracking cookies. It may use essential functional cookies set by the hosting platform and by Lovable.app as part of the embedded questionnaire. These are necessary for the site and questionnaire to function correctly and do not track you across other websites.

Lovable.app may set their own cookies when the questionnaire loads. These are governed by Lovable's own cookie and privacy policy, available at lovable.app.

This website does not currently use any analytics tools. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be added before any tracking cookies are placed.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the site.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

The right to access: you can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.

The right to rectification: you can ask me to correct any inaccurate data.

The right to erasure: you can ask me to delete your personal data, subject to any legal obligations I have to retain it.

The right to restriction: you can ask me to limit how I use your data in certain circumstances.

The right to object: you can object to my processing of your data where I am relying on legitimate interest as the legal basis.

The right to withdraw consent: where I process your data on the basis of consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

The right to data portability: you can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at coaching@camspringett.cloud. I will respond within one month.
